Angel Giving Tree
The Angel Giving Tree ensures that low-income children receive gifts for Christmas. You can participate by selecting a child’s name at Von’s from the Angel Giving Tree.
Last year we had 40 children whose names were not selected. We are asking you to select two names and buy less for them. We were only able to give them a gift certificate for $15 if their names weren’t selected.
You can bring your gifts to the Health Department by Wednesday December 12. This year we are offering the option of giving a gift certificate to Rite Aid, Kmart or the Cast Off to allow the parents to shop for their own children. You can drop off a certificate at the Health Department if you don’t want to shop for a child, but would like to supplement a gift the child receives. You can receive an income tax donation by writing a check to Mono County Office of Education and we will purchase the gift certificate.
Volunteers are needed for gift sorting and distribution from December Call Mary Jo @ 934-2253 to help with this event.
