The annual Pond Skim at Canyon Lodge did not disappoint. Spectators and participants were treated to a sunny, warm day at Mammoth Mountain, which made the icy cold waters of the pond slightly less intimidating for those who took the plunge and entered the contest.

The Pond Skim marks the closure of Canyon Lodge for the season. Eagle Lodge is also now closed.
