Sunrise Rotary provides lunch for Wounded Warriors
Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra conducted the Disabled Sports Wounded Warrior Program from June 7 through June 11. This program provided recovering wounded members of the military services with an opportunity to participate in a number of outdoor activities in the Eastern Sierra, including camping at McGee Creek campground, kayaking on Crowley Lake, and fly fishing.
Members of Mammoth Lakes Sunrise Rotary provided lunch on Tuesday for the Warriors, family members, and DSES volunteers. Lunch included sandwiches from Subway and homemade desserts baked by Sunrise members Jo Bacon, Sandy Peterson, and Elizabeth Wilbrecht.
