Demetriades recognized

Jim Demetriades (left), owner of the Sierra Nevada Lodge and the Rafters Restaurant, received an award from the Mammoth Lakes Planning Commission on Wednesday that recognized his investment in his properties’ landscaping. Planning Commissioner Elizabeth Tenney presented the award. While at the podium, Demetriades announced that he hopes to get his ice rink, made with synthetic ice, up and running by Nov. 15.
