As the snow continues to fall in Mammoth, the ski area is preparing to open Canyon and Eagle lodges on Wednesday, Nov. 24, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The snow accumulation over the past weekend is being enhanced even further with more snow today, Nov. 23. Mammoth Mountain is reporting a base of 3.5 to 7 feet, with 12 to 20 inches of new snowfall in the last 24 hours. With all of this snow, Mammoth will be able to open the most terrain is has for Thanksgiving in several years.
