UPDATED Feb. 18, 5.23 p.m. : Until an Interim Town Manager is officially named, the Town’s Public Works Director Ray Jarvis will serve as Acting Town Manager, according to outgoing Town Manager Rob Clark whose resignation became effective on Feb. 18 at 5 p.m.

Marianna Marysheva-Martinez, the former Assistant City Administrator for the City of Oakland may be the Town of Mammoth’s new Interim Town Manager, according to Sheet sources. Negotiations are still underway, but the Bay Area employee who was with the City of Oakland until Jan. 5 of this year, according to an employee at the Oakland City Administrator’s office, may be looking at a 4-5 month stint as Interim Town Manager, to possibly be followed by moving into the Town’s Administrative Services Director position.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Marysheva-Martinez holds a Masters of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.

Apparently John Girardi of Coachella was also in the running for the Interim Town Manager position and may have been the Town’s first choice.
