Olancha road improvements

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced the award and approval of a $765,338 highway project in Inyo County. The contract was awarded to Granite Construction Company from International Surfacing Systems, Sacramento, Calif. The project consists of placing an asphalt rubber seal coat on existing pavement in Inyo County near Olancha on Route 190 from U.S. 395 to Route 136. Construction is underway and is anticipated to be completed by Friday, June 10.

The traveling public is advised that there will be traffic control with flaggers and a pilot car during the daylight hours. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes. –Press Release
