Floodgates open

Town road crews and inmates from the Department of Corrections worked to avert flooding that threatened parts of Mammoth late this week, including Hayden Cabin. Water in the stream behind the historic property was estimated at 3 feet above normal, and had risen a foot overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
