Burton’s weekend storm warning

The first winter storm warning in Mammoth for the 2011/12 season was issued by Burton Snowboards on Aug. 13 at Wave Rave Snowboard Shop. The company set up a party bunker and showcased its new, 2012 gear. Free pizza and beverages from Giovanni’s were available for everyone, plus giveaways, including a gift certificate for $1,000 were raffled off. Lucky winner Dalton Potter walked away with the gift certificate.

According to store manager Alex Wells, “It was a super fun event and good times were had by all!”
