The Mammoth Unified School recently announced that Mammoth High School Principal Gabe Solorio has been granted a short term medical leave to tackle some old skiing injuries.

Recently retired Mammoth High School Principal Mike Agnitch has been appointed to step in as Interim Principal until Solorio returns in late January.

In a statement, MUSD staff said Agnitch was considered best suited for this short term assignment, as he knows the staff and is familiar with the organizational structure of the school district.
