Rotary: Mekvold is top student

Mammoth Lakes Noon Rotary Club recently recongnized Mammoth High School student Presley Mekvold as the organization’s Student of the Month for February.

Mekvold was recognized by her for academic achievement, particularly in Drama.

Her Drama teacher, Kevin Worden, described Mekvold as very dedicated, friendly and kind. “She has shown inspiring work over the past 6 years,” Worden commented. “She is a real pleasure to work with.”

Described as an “outstanding student with musical interests, Mekvold said she hopes to follow her dream to become a country singer. –Press Release
