Playhouse 395 goes “HONK!”
Playhouse 395 will host a free performance of HONK! from the first of two Playhouse 395 Summer Children’s Theatre Workshops on June 22, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Bishop Union High School.
The second workshop starts July 9, with a final performance from that group on July 20. Register online, or download a form at the Playhouse 395 website, fill it out and either mail it in or drop it off at the Playhouse 395 Box Office at 146 W. Line Street.
George Stiles and Anthony Drewe’s adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling” involves a gaggle of farmyard characters, who join the naïve, but loveable, Ugly in his rites-of-passage journey from misrepresented duckling to elegant swan.

June Mountain summer opening day
June Mountain is ready to soar into Summer … Opening Day is set for Thursday, June 21, the start of what is shaping up to be part of our Best Summer Ever!

Women’s Club meetings
Keep active not only during the summer but all year round by joining the Mammoth Lakes Women’s Club. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a social and light refreshments, followed by Club business.
The non-profit organization conducts several fundraising events throughout the year, which benefit scholarship programs and various community groups. New members welcome any time.

5th Laws Museum concert
The Laws Museum will hold its 5th Annual Benefit Concert this Saturday, June 16, starting at 5 p.m., this year featuring a SPECIAL LIVE performance by Richard Elloyan & the Peavine Pickers!
Tickets: A $30 donation includes a special pre-concert catered meal from 5-6 p.m., incluidng: choice of BBQ tri-tip or ham, cowboy beans, coleslaw and garlic bread.
The show is suitable for all ages, and all funds raised support the Laws Railroad Museum.
