According to Mono County Senior Engineer Garrett Higerd, roads in June Lake and Chalfant are on their way to rehabilitation. Higerd came before the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to ask for approval of two resolutions that would allow rehab work to begin on County-maintained roads in Chalfant and June Lake. The total cost of each community’s project will be funded by the County Road Fund, but then reimbursed by the state. The Board approved the resolutions unanimously.
