How to get married in Mammoth

Local residents Brian Venneman and Jennifer Heintzelman were married on Saturday, Dec. 15 by the Twin Lakes Bridge.

The groom skied down to the ceremony via Hole in the Wall with four companions.

A la James Bond, he had his suit on underneath his gear and his shoes in his backpack for a quick transition.

The bride waited for him down below.

They both wore matching, white faux fur jackets.

Judge Ed Forstenzer performed the short ceremony (it was cold as hell).

The wedding party then retired to Tamarack Lodge for a round of hot drinks.

The reception was held the same night at the Bistro at Snowcreek.
