Cyclist injured at Mammoth Mountain Bike Park

According to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area officials, “At approximately 2:18 p.m. Saturday, August 24, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park Rangers were dispatched to Upper Shock Treatment to respond to a call of an injured cyclist. Upon arrival at 2:23, Rangers found the patient, Stephen Olmsted, age 42 from Sonora, CA unconscious, with no pulse. Rangers began CPR and the patient was transported by paramedics to Mammoth Hospital. He was later transferred to Renown in Reno, NV where he currently remains.”
