Removing a burner from behind Stellar Brew

Mammoth Chevron finally got a clean bill of health from state regulators last week, 20 years after a gas leak contaminated the ground beneath the station. The current owners knew about the hazard when they bought the business in 2006, but it took seven years of agitating with corporate to finally get the job done. This crane removed a burner from behind Stellar Brew. The burner had been used to inject heat, moisture and bugs into the soil to eliminate the benzene, said Owner Tom Cage.
