Mammoth Half Marathon entries soar in second year

    The Mammoth Half Marathon on Sunday, June 22 drew 1,450 competitors in its second year, up from 1,100 a year ago. Jameson Mora won the men’s race in a time of 1:11:41.

    Alan Campos was second, about a minute behind.

    Lisa, Jim and Riley Pathman comprise Team Hoyt (www.teamhoyt.com), a father and son in a wheelchair who compete in athletic events to promote awareness of the physically challenged. Team Hoyt crossed the finish line with Deena and Andrew Kastor in an impressive 1:45.
