Head brewer Drew Wallace, who owns the company with his wife Kerissa, said that the brewery will debut one more beer, the Insatiable Saison, for its grand opening on Friday, Dec. 11. Pints will be available for $4.50 to $5 and tasters will sell for $2, said Wallace. Black Doubt will also be offering a special release barrel-aged Oatmeal Stout for the occasion, available in tasting size only.
Mammoth Brewing Company’s Joyce Turner showed up to sample beers before her brewery’s 20th anniversary party, and Wallace said that both MBC and June Lake Brewing had brought beers for Black Doubt’s employees as a welcome gift.
“Joyce said anytime we need anything just give them a call and they’ll help us out with it,” said Wallace.
Black Doubt Brewing Company will hold its grand opening on Friday, Dec. 11 on the ground floor of the Sierra Center Mall on Old Mammoth Road from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
