Press Release
Two days after delaying its initial November 8 opening day, Mammoth Mountain has announced it will open for the 2018-2019 season on Saturday, November 10.

Recent cold temperatures have allowed increased snowmaking production on the Broadway trail. Mammoth expects to open Broadway Express [Chair 1] with access to Broadway and 1-2 terrain park features on Saturday.

The annual banner break- through will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Chair 1 with free Huski cocoa and the reveal of the ‘18- ’19 Mammoth Beanie.

Mammoth will be giving out the new Mammoth Beanie while supplies last.

Toast to the new season [and the Mammoth snowmaking crew!] with President and COO Mark Brownlie at 11 a.m. on the Tusks Bar sundeck with a complimentary beer – friendly

Tusks Bar bartenders will be ready to serve up more drinks for the rest of the afternoon and all weekend long.

Don’t miss local favorites, The Sundowners, playing live music on the Tusks Bar sun- deck both Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m.

The Mammoth snowmaking

team will continue to take ad- vantage of every opportunity to make snow and expand terrain beyond Broadway. For those who haven’t received their Ikon Pass in the mail, head to the Main Lodge ticket lobby to get your pass this weekend.
