Conor Dwyer, born and raised in Mammoth and a lover of the Sierra Nevada mountains, passed away on February 13, 2025 due to health complications related to pancreatitis.

The son of Wendy and Kip Dwyer and the youngest of three siblings, Conor had been living in Oceanside.

He loved the outdoors and was passionate about mountain biking, skiing, hiking, racing RC cars, and spending time with any and every dog he could find. Conor had a unique sense of humor and possessed a special ability to make others laugh. His smile could light up any room and he was always keeping busy, earning him his childhood nickname of “Sparky.” Conor had a strong work ethic and was skilled in his creative abilities including guitar playing, cooking, building his RC cars, and fixing up his truck. Conor will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his family who will miss him forever.

His father Kip preceded him in death in 1999 and the prospect of their reunion offers comfort during this time of grief.

Conor was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson. He is survived by his mother Wendy Carter, brother Nick, sister-in-law Mayra, their two sons Ebbet and Lewis Dwyer, sister Krista and brother-in-law Matthew, and their two sons Luke and Beckham Stecker.

A celebration of life for Conor will be held on April 7th, 2025 at The Camp Store at South Carlsbad State Beach from 5-7:30pm.
