Daycare alarm

On Tuesday, Mammoth Lakes Fire Department responded to a call from a daycare home on Manzanita Road. The kerosene stove inside the home was malfunctioning and alarmed the daycare assistant who called 911. The stove was firing up on its own and blazing intensely.

MLFD arrived and turned off the kerosene line. No injuries or property damage were reported.
