Mono County IT Director Nate Greenberg was unanimously appointed by the Mono County Board of Supervisors as the County’s Project Manager for Digital 395. Greenberg will now act as the point person for D395 and will sit on the Board for Eastern Sierra Connect as the County’s liaison.

At Tuesday’s meeting, Mono County CAO Jim Arkens pointed out that Greenberg would need more authority than the IT Director allows to adequately complete this job, so with the approval of the Board, Greenberg was given the power of the CAO’s office and will report directly to Arkens.

It will be left up to Greenberg’s discretion to determine which of his previous tasks he will still be able to handle and how much of his time will be taken away by D395, but the Board made it clear that the D395 project was to be his top priority.

“It’s up to you to let us know what you need,” said Board Chair Vikki Bauer.
