Lloyd Cearley, creator of this year’s inaugural Mammoth 2 Bishop bike ride, has been reported missing to Sacramento authorities.

Mammoth Lakes Police Officer Luke Schwartzkopf confirmed that MLPD had received notice on the afternoon of Aug. 15 from the Sacramento Police Department that Cearley had failed to show up for an appointment earlier this week and had been reported missing. Sacramento Police asked that MLPD be on the lookout locally since Cearley has ties to the Mammoth area.
