Bowl against the best
Bowling legend Parker Bohn to visit Mammoth.
Parker Bohn III is one of the most successful professional bowlers of all time. He has 33 titles, including two majors. He is still bowling and having great success on the Senior Tour.
Bohn will be in Mammoth this Saturday, June 14, for a pro-am event.
The local bowling pro employed at Mammoth Rock ‘n Bowl,, Joe Salvemini, knows Bohn from the professional tour. Salvemini is bowling at a tournament this week in Las Vegas; he actually made the cut and was in match play as of press time Thursday.
Bohn is also bowling in the same tournament. According to Mammoth Rock ‘n Bowl owner Dan O’Connell, Joe called Parker and asked him if he would come to Mammoth to do a Pro-Am demonstration event, and Parker agreed. Joe will be returning to Mammoth following the tournament in Las Vegas, and Parker will also stop in Mammoth for the Pro-Am while on his way to another tournament in northern California.
