Howard Wu runs for Bishop City Council
Howard Wu is running against Chris Costello for Bishop City Council. He ran unsuccessfully in 2014 and in the spring of this year was beat by Costello in a City Council vote to fill Patricia Gardner’s seat. Perhaps the third time will be the charm.
Wu is a semi-retired acupuncturist, which, he said, gives him an outside perspective and plenty of time to devote to council if he’s elected.
He has a genial manner. He cares more about the electoral process than the success of his campaign. He threw his name in Uncle Sam’s hat when he realized Costello was going to run uncontested.
“I’m doing my best as a concerned citizen to make sure we have a choice,” Wu told The Sheet.
