On May 11 the Mono County Board of Supervisors authorized Mono County Department of Public Works crews to assist in the snow-clearing efforts on Tioga Pass road in conjunction with the National Park Service. CalTrans has cleared their portion, so Mono County crews will begin working from east to west until they meet the National Park Service crews, who are working west to east. According to National Park Service officials, their goal is to have Tioga Pass open prior to Memorial Weekend. –Mono County Press Release
