Le Centre Dance Studio’s first recital was held last Saturday.
Le Centre Dance Studio held its first-ever dance recital last Saturday afternoon, May 22. Approximately 30 students participated.
Laura Vios, who teaches Princess Pre-Ballet on Monday afternoons, led her students in a fairy tale-like routine. Favorite part: Watching the wildflowers giggle under their sashes before they started “growing.”
Tatiana Susoeff, who teaches Petite Ballerine (ages 4-6) and Youth Ballet (ages 7-11) on Wednesdays, then led each of her classes through a routine to show off their skills.
Ballet classes, FYI, are just $40 for a package of four classes (tutus, shoes and other accessories not included).
Julia Cage, then performed a solo routine. Cage studies with Susoeff and Studio owner Sabrina Nioche and choreographed her own routine.
Paula Yoko Padilla’s hip hop troupe concluded the afternoon’s performance on a high note, with a lot of energy and pizazz. They move so fast that all of Lunch’s action photos came out blurry.
Le Centre’s website (www.lecentremammoth.com) is set to launch within the next few weeks and will provide an easy way for students and parents to access schedules and upcoming events.
Or look for the studio’s summer schedule in The Sheet beginning next week.
Le Centre is located in the Mammoth Luxury Outlet Mall downstairs from Nioche’s Movement in Mind Pilates Studio. Info: 760.924.2043.
