MOMS’ care packages

The members of MOMS Club, aka “Mothers of Military Service,” are still sending care packages to local service men and women in combat zones overseas.

At least 11 soldiers hailing from the Eastern Sierra are deployed, and a few more either have been issued or will soon receive orders.

The MOMS club also helps with financing trips for parents who could not otherwise afford to attend boot camp graduation ceremonies.

Mail monetary donations to: MOMS Club, PO Box 703, Bishop, CA 93514, or bring donations to MOMS care package meetings on the first Monday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Bishop City Auditorium, 301 West Line St.
