Letters to Santa

On behalf of Santa, The Sheet received several letters which we promptly forwarded to the North Pole. Santa would like to thank all of the obviously good boys and girls for taking the time to write him.
Each child who wrote in is eligible to receive a $5 credit on a purchase made at either Minky Monkey Toys or the Booky Joint. They will have your names on file. We ask, however, on the honor system, that you use the credit just once. Remember, Santa’s watching.
Eight children have been selected to receive larger gift certificates. They are:

The first letters which appear here are those which were sent directly to The Sheet’s mailbox. The rest are from Mrs. Burgenbauch’s class at Mammoth Elementary. Due to space considerations, we could not fit all the letters this week. The remainder will appear in our next issue.

I am only going to ask for one thing in this letter. The rest is going to be about how I am doing in school. In social studies, we have been studying the history of Mammoth Lakes. We have been studying the history of the Paiutes. The paiutes is short for Paiute Indians. They caught rabbits with a net that was hand woven with natural recources. Anyway, that’s all for this year, besides the only thing I would like, which is a camera.
