Get out and enjoy the sun while you can in Mammoth Lakes. The morning of Dec. 30 was chilly but clear and the conditions on Mammoth Mountain were great, although a little crowded. A chance of snow was forecast for the afternoon, with partly cloudy skies predicted for Friday, Dec. 31 and a chance of snow from New Year’s Day through at least Monday, Jan. 3.

Mammoth Mountain has been breaking snow records left and right and has reached 302 inches of snow to date this season.
