The real America’s team
Everyone loves America’s team. The real America’s team … the Pittsburgh Steelers. I know every one of you loves to see the Black and Gold punch teams in the mouth. Most of all, I know all of you were happy to see the Steelers wipe that smug-ass grin off the face of Jet Coach Rex “Jabba the Hut” Ryan.
Bears QB Jay Cutler got dogged for not finishing the game. I can’t really understand why. People were getting on his ass for not “toughing it out” while the game was in progress, having no idea how hurt he really was.
I will say that when your reputation is that of a difficult whiner with no leadership skills … that will not grant you the benefit of the doubt. Still, players tweeting during the game about how they thought he was soft were morons. They have been hurt before and should understand.
While we are on the subject, why are grown men tweeting? Don’t they understand that’s dangerous? I can tell you right now when something happens, I sometimes have an initial reaction that I may think or even say out loud … but one should give it 10 minutes of actual thought before making a fool of oneself. Then to come back the next day and say your words were ‘taken out of context’ is just a bitch move.
The AFC is the better conference. We all know that. The Steelers play in the AFC and finished 12-4. The Packers play in the NFC and finished 10-6. The Steelers have a QB that has won 2 Super Bowls and a roster full of players with championship rings. The Packers have no players with Super Bowl rings (except for a fullback who got one while he was on the practice squad … of the Steelers). So the Packers, logically, are a 2.5 point favorite over the Steelers. Huh?
Big Ben. I don’t like him personally, but you’ve got to give him credit. He will make you crazy all game, but will make the plays at the end to win.
Bengal QB Carson Palmer just demanded a trade. That is some funny s%$#. He has played like garbage the last few years. He doesn’t have the talent or power to demand anything right now. Carson, shut up, go study some film and learn to play QB again.
Rex Ryan: “The people that want to criticize us … they have no right.” Well, they do have a right Jabba? ‘Cause you and your team talk all the time and act like 5-year-olds. so when you are winning people think you are cute. But make no mistake. When you are losing and turning in 6-10 seasons those same people will crucify you and your band of idiots.
For all the talk, the Jets will be watching the Super Bowl just like me. On television.
Why ESPN is not credible. They have quarterback experts on ESPN and ESPN2. Former QBs that break down active QBs and tell you what they should be seeing and doing on basically every play. On ESPN, .it is Trent Dilfer. Stop laughing. ‘Cause he is the more credible of the ‘QB experts’ ESPN employs. On ESPN2 they have … Kordell Stewart. Now you can laugh your ass off. I actually heard Kordell Stewart on TV dogging a QB for not reading the play right and making an accurate throw. This from a man who once threw for 34 yards in an entire game.
The Broncos hired John Fox because he had such ‘great success’ in Carolina. And since he did such a great job there leading the team to a 2-14 record, they not only hired him, but are letting him bring some of the coaches from his staff as well. Ridiculous.
Why the media is full of it: How many credible, intelligent players are there in the NFL? Many! So why therefore, when the media is looking for a quote about labor unrest between the players and the owners would they put a microphone in the face of Jet CB Antonio Cromartie? Really. And in true form, that jackass gave them exactly what they wanted. He started bitching about how the owners and union leaders were “bitching” and all they cared about was money. According to Cromartie, the money doesn’t mean anything and can come and go so quickly. Yes Antonio, because money comes and goes, but an NFL career is forever. Dumbass.
Taco Bell is being sued for selling meat that is only “36% beef”. And I heard people were outraged. Really?? I have something for anyone that was surprised about finding out Taco Bell wasn’t selling beef. Seriously. If you can eat that shit and not know it isn’t meat, then you shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.
How do you sell meat that is less than 36% meat?? Damn. At least if you live overseas you know you are getting 100% cat.
