New Year’s Eve skate party

Gaines holds 2012 Town Hall
The community of Mammoth Lakes is invited to join State Senator Ted Gaines for a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, Suite Z (Minaret Village Mall). The meeting is an opportunity for residents, community leaders and business owners to get an update on what’s going on at the State Capitol and what they can expect in 2012. June Mountain is open!
Yes, Virginia, June Mountain is open for skiing and boarding, and first reports are that the groomers really good. Chairs 1 & 2 are open with access to Mambo. With the limited terrain ticket prices have been reduced to the following until more terrain is available: Adults $30, Youth $23, Seniors are $15 and Children just $10!
Now is a great time for lessons at June, and of course gear rentals and the Cafe and Cocktails at the World Famous Antler Bar are all be available. Plus, the Sport Shop is stocked with new goodies for everyone on your holiday shopping list!

Extended hours at Post Office
Hours for holiday package pickup (yellow cards) have been extended at the Mammoth Lakes Post Office.
Package pick up will be available Friday, Dec. 23, from 4-6 p.m. at the Blue dutch doors.
Package pick up will also be available on Saturday, Dec. 24, from 8 a.m. until noon.
The Post Office will observe the Christmas Holiday on Monday, Dec. 26, and will be closed. Happy Holidays from Mammoth’s postal employees.
