Burglar splurges in Mammoth

Sometime during the wee hours between Sunday, June 24 and Monday, June 25, four Mammoth businesses were victimized by burglary.

Schat’s Bakery, Nik ‘n Willies, the Dollar Store and Rafters all suffered losses during the break-ins. Three of the four businesses had surveillance cameras, plus the suspect dropped his cell phone at one of the businesses. Mammoth Lakes Police Department identified the suspect as Cameron Puckett, age 27, a transient.

Puckett is 6’1,” 180 with brown hair in a buzz cut. He is currently on parole. Anyone with information on his whereabouts of Puckett should contact the MLPD at 760.934.2011. –MLPD/LK
