World-renowned artist and entertainer Yve Evans will perform at Mammoth Lakes Rotary’s Winterfest on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Canyon Lodge. Evans has been a regular at the Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee and will showcase her talents in honor of Mammoth Lakes Rotary Club “Service Above Self” honorees Ken and Flossie Coulter. Evans has performed all around the world, including Japan, Canada, Spain and Italy. There is an intangible quality in her music that gives it a life of its own; life that reaches out and touches the souls of the people that hear it. Yve Evans’ artistry is a perfect accompaniment to the evening’s honorees.
At Winterfest outstanding Mammoth Lakes citizens Ken and Flossie Coulter will be named the first Mammoth Lakes Rotary Club “Service Above Self” honorees (Click here for article). The ‘Service Above Self’ award is presented to an individual or couple who model the motto through their actions in providing outstanding service to the community. This award is given to those who have demonstrated self-sacrifice, compassion for their fellow man, and significant hands-on involvement in one or more endeavors to improve the quality of life of individuals and the community.
Tickets to this event are $100/person and include a ski poker run during the day, a gala dinner with hosted wine and drink, a live and silent auction and the exclusive performance by Yve Evans coupled with a Mardi gras themed celebration and festive food, drink and Joie de vivre.
