Bishop High School skiers sparkle in state Alpine championships

Bishop Union High School’s ski team  put in strong showings during the CNISSF State Alpine Ski Championships, March 3-7 at Mt. Shasta. Of the more than 150 skiers competing, Collin Batchelder took 45th in Slalom, Dana Grevenkamp took 13th in Slalom and 12 in GS, Madison Pauly took 17th in Slalom and 10th in GS, Max Piercey took 18th in Slalom and 28th in GS, Bronwynn Stephenson took 24th in Slalom and 28th in GS, Stephen Stickells took 58th in Slalom and 29th in GS, and Robert Toy came in 13th in Slalom and 15th in GS.

Overall,  BUHS placed 5th in Men’s & Women’s Combined Ski teams.

The BUHS Men placed sixth overall, as did the BUHS Women.
