Hospital Auxiliary Blood Drive
As was evidenced after the recent bombing during the Boston Marathon, blood is always needed. The national blood supply must cover every day needs and unexpected disasters. Volunteer blood donors are needed year-round to ensure there is enough blood products. Blood is needed every two seconds! Roughly 1 in 7 people entering a hospital needs blood.
Our blood supply comes from caring donors. When you give blood, you give someone another laugh, another hug, and another chance.
The Mammoth Lakes Hospital Auxiliary invites you to help save a life! United Blood Services is able to make up to three products from each donation. One donation can help the life of up to three people.
Donate blood on May 13-15 at Fire Station #1 on Main Street in Mammoth Lakes. Schedule an appointment at www.bloodhero.com or call 760.258.5759.
