DSl service in swall meadows
Service is expected to be online in 4 to 7 weeks

Six years after Swall Meadows residents first requested that Verizon break out fibers from their Bishop to Mammoth Lakes “inner-office” fiber optic cable to serve their community, and under a PUC Order to do so, on Wednesday, June 19 Verizon finally tapped into the cable at Swall. Service is expected to be online in 4 to 7 weeks. The center vehicle in the picture is Verizon’s fiber optic splicing truck.
