Mammoth Lakes, CA – Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is proud to announce the new addition of Eric Clark, Chief Operating Officer of Hospitality, to the Executive Management Team.

Clark has 23 years of experience in the ski and ride hospitality industry along with extensive knowledge in marketing and sales, rental operations management, revenue systems, guest services, and HOA governance.

In his new role, he will oversee all four Mammoth resort properties, including the Mammoth Mountain Inn, the Village at Mammoth, Juniper Springs Resort, and Tamarack Lodge and Resort, as well as the homeowner property management program and Sierra Star Golf Club.

“I am pleased to welcome Eric Clark and his family to Mammoth,” said Mammoth CEO Rusty Gregory. “Eric’s success in the lodging space put him at the top of a long list of candidates in a nationwide search for the Chief Operating Officer of Mammoth Hospitality. This and his extensive experience in the ski industry makes him the perfect addition to our newly formed six member Executive Management Team as we go to work on growing skier visits and our lodging business in the improving economy.”

Clark comes to Mammoth from Gemstone Resorts, Park City, Utah, as General Manager/Regional Director where he oversaw four hotel properties and continually increased revenue, improved guest experience, and increased overall rating on Trip Advisor. He managed 555 rooms, world-class conference facilities, restaurants plus a roof top lounge, spas, and a golf-course.

Prior to Gemstone, Eric served as General Manager at Winter Park Ski and Ride Resort in Colorado for seven years where he scored the highest Home Owner net promoter score in Intrawest and averaged the highest employee net promoter score for lodging divisions within Intrawest.

He is a graduate of Colorado College and received his MBA from the University of Denver. Growing up in Colorado, Eric has always been passionate about skiing, writing his senior thesis on “An Analysis of the Colorado Ski Industry”.

“What I find truly compelling about this new position is the opportunity to be a part of the Mammoth team that is continually improving upon itself and establishing a legacy as a premiere resort destination,” said Clark.

Eric is looking forward to calling Mammoth home.
