Tax the crack house!

I have a message for the government. Think about this. In Washington state they tax every thing. They have what they consider SIN TAXES on cigarettes and alcohol. A bottle of liquor in Washington that costs you $40 would be $25 in California. Ridiculous. But I am going to tell you where they are missing the boat … Starbucks. If you want to make some money, tax Starbucks. I think they should investigate Starbucks for crack content in their coffee while they’re at it. Starbucks is something people have gotta have. I see it every day. There is a Starbucks on every corner, in every grocery, even in the Dollar Store.
I sat outside the other day waiting for a work meeting and observed. It’s a crack house. Half the parking lot in this strip mall was occupied by Starbucks users. And watching them fight for parking spaces and line up 10 cars deep in the drive-thru line … crack house. Watching the people and the way they act … crack house. You see them jump out of their car and dart to the Starbucks, wearing pajamas, half dressed … gotta have that grande mocha choca with soy … crack. Some of them won’t even look at you, head down, texting, twitching until they get to the line and get that hit. As soon as they walk in the door and smell you can see them beaming up on the second hand crack hit. I go in and order sometimes for my ladies at work. I don’t drink coffee so I am butchering the orders and have papers printed out. You can see the people behind me staring at me like I don’t know the crack house procedures, wanting to say hurry up so I can beam up. The government is missing out. Tax the hell out of StarCrackBucks … those crackheads will not care and will pay whatever price you charge them. THEY GOTTA HAVE IT.
As far as the football world is concerned, let’s start with Steeler QB Ben Roethlisberger, who is as dumb as a box of hammers. If the Steelers wish to rebuild, they’ve got to get rid of him because he’s not the face of your franchise and he’s not worth $20 million a year. Use his $20 million for players you can use and rebuild with. As a Steeler fan, I beg of you … dump him. Keep him and you’re relegating the team to a decade of mediocrity.
Speaking of guys on the decline … Tom Brady. Tom is off. I don’t want to hear anymore about his receivers, etc. Tom Brady is off. He is missing wide open receivers and they are saying they aren’t on the same page. They aren’t in the same library and it doesn’t matter if Brady keeps hitting them in the big toe with passes
Atlanta Falcons. They were a Super Bowl pick … were. What I love more than anything is QB Matt Ryan throwing picks and generally being ineffective. They are blaming injuries to WRS and everything except Bigfoot for his problems. Maybe the issue is … he is overrated. They give him a nickname (“Ice”) for nothing.
Dez Bryant. I think the media needs to shut up. They are all riding Dez Bryant for his “tirade” on the sidelines last week, without even knowing what he was talking about. NFL Films audio and teammates are verifying he wasn’t blasting his teammates but trying to get them fired up. But you have idiots like Heath Evans on NFL Network saying “he was still a distraction, etc.” Shut up. I have seen Brady going off on the sidelines and his WRs and his Offensive Coordinator but he is GENERAL and a PERFECTIONIST and a FIERCE COMPETITOR.
Is it an NFL rule or a law that a team, particularly a Peyton Manning led team with a great offense – can’t play defense at all? I don’t get it. Do teams with great offenses just practice offense so much and use the defense as practice dummies the offense can abuse?
Funniest statement I heard last week. “Brandon Weedin was disappointing as a QB, but he took his benching like a real pro.”
They drafted him at age 30 because of his maturity and ability to be a pro right away. He has been a real mess as a QB, but the maturity really paid off because he has taken his benching like a pro and not caused any issues with the team.
My 12 year old son was laughing his butt off watching Tom Brady run the other day. He was imitating Brady run, while making huge arcs when trying to cut or make a turn. It was hilarious because it was right on the money. When Brady makes a cut it looks more like an 18 wheeler making a u-turn.
How long are the Cowboys going to run with Garrett at head coach. That guy is clueless. Dallas had a 10 point lead late and completely mishandled the clock.
Then they blame Romo or Dez arguing on the sidelines. They need to fire Garrett. If I were Romo when the playcalling came in, I would have given the head coach and the offensive coordinator the bird and called whatever I wanted to. Garrett is getting a free pass because the owner can’t admit he made a mistake anointing him.
Taunting penalties on TD runs, passes. I think if someone is taunting while running into the end zone should wipe out the TD and take the ball back at least 15 yards. Make the team score again. Giving a penalty on the ensuing kickoff is a waste. Those players don’t care. If someone is taunting during or directly after a TD, wipe out the TD and make them score again. I will assure you the coaches will make sure that s&^%t doesn’t happen again.
The NFL needs to be consistent. Why suspend players and reduce the penalty 15 minutes later? They are hypocrites. They fine and suspend for these ‘atrocious’ hits, but reduce the penalty as soon as the player opposes. They are just making the visual that they are worried about safety. They aren’t.
Select Picks:
Bengals 16, Dolphins 20. Dolphins fans … where are the people saying this team was for real after they won a couple games and spent $400 million on ridiculous free agents? Where is Mike Wallace??
Saints 34, Jets 16. I think the Saints are the best team in the league right now. I said it. I think they have the best balance of offense and defense in the league. They play both. The Seahawks are offensively challenged. They can whine about the injuries … that everyone has … but they are challenged offensively. And they are waiting on injured WR Percy Harvin like he is Jesus Christ.
Chargers 37. Redskins 23. The ‘Skins have ZERO defense. ZERO.
Eagles 17, Raiders 23. The Raiders need to work with QB Terrelle Prior. He can be a very good QB and the Raider defense is pretty good. The Eagles have revolutionized offense in the NFL … and PR. They are able to run out three below average QBs and put up no points, but still be the topic of everyone’s weekly NFL show.
