Letters to the Editor
Dear Editor ...

In defense of Fergus

Dear Editor:

I own several lots and one home in Old Mammoth and went through the fire department’s defensible space program this past summer. I dealt almost entirely with Chris Fergus. He made at least three trips to my property, two of them meeting with me. I found Chris to be courteous and professional at all times. He was flexible and considerate of my interests. He went out of his way to assist me in having my landscape company, Bravo Gardens, accomplish the work when it was a difficult time for the company. Bravo did a terrific job. My property looks fine. The deer seem happy enough.

Most important, my home is safer and the homes and lives of my neighbors are safer too. As I look at it, reducing combustion is the best homeowner’s insurance you can buy. Oh, and the taxpayers of this fine land paid for 75% of it, promptly. Is this a great country, or what?

Very cool Bob, maybe you could buck up and pay the cost yourself since you own so many lots and homes, instead of sticking 75% to the taxpayers! Your reducing the fuel not the combustion.
