The last time the Inyo County Board of Supervisors discussed consolidating offices in Bishop was in 2015.

The Board reevaluated consolidation then and they’re reevaluating it now.

At the board’s meeting of June 12, County Administrator Kevin Carunchio introduced Agenda Item 34: “Request Board receive update regarding the Consolidated County Office Building Project proposed to be built in Bishop, and provide direction to staff.”

“Assuming that you’re interested in moving forward,” he said, “the developer is prepared to re-engage his architect with county staff to develop final design plans which need to be incorporated in the lease before it’s brought before your board.”
