Chamber Music Unbound Summer Festival checks in at the scorer’s table beginning this weekend

The 2018 Chamber Music Unbound Summer Festival returns to Mammoth Lakes July 19-28.

All performances will be held at Mammoth’s Cerro Coso Community College campus.

Per usual, Chamber Music Un- bound’s Brian Schuldt and Rebecca Hang have assembled an all-star lineup for this year’s festival.

One such special guest receiving A-list billing is Amy Jo Rhine, who plays French Horn for the L.A. Phil- harmonic.

Rhine will take advantage of a couple of days off from her Hol- lywood Bowl schedule to play the Festival next weekend.

As Schuldt says. there’s not that much Chamber repertoire written for the French Horn, certainly not as frequent as that written for strings and piano, so to hear a player of Rhine’s caliber in such an intimate setting is a unique opportunity.
