Violeta Martin wore an exclusive design from Adolfo Sanchez.

After a knockout performance at the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, Singer/Songwriter Violeta Martin from Mammoth Lakes will lend her talents locally by headlining the Official Town of Mammoth Lakes Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 2 in the Footloose Sports parking lot.

The Los Angeles-born and Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico-raised Martin teamed up Eastern Sierra producer/composer/guitarist Byron Fry, who took Violeta’s melodies and wrote the musical arrangements for her 2008 debut album, “En Busca del Amor.” Continuing her journey into the “New Latin Pop,” genre, Martin is currently mixing her follow-up album in Burbank. You can follow Martin on www.facebook.com/violetamartinoffical.

The Tree Lighting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Kids won’t want to miss Santa’s traditional Mammoth arrival, escorted by the Mammoth Lakes Fire Department!

Martin is expected to take the stage around 6 p.m. –Press Release
