Elevate good times, come on!

Elevation Mammoth 2013, the 11th Annual edition of the country’s third- largest gay ski week, takes place March 13-17 at Mammoth Mountain and in the Village at Mammoth. Elevation brings together people from across the country and the world, for a week of events to celebrate diversity and have fun. Now in it’s 11th year, Elevation will host 2,500 riders, nine major parties, and zero attitude.

Elevation Mammoth hosts world class DJs that spin at both night-time and apres-ski events. Annual highlights include the Party at 10,000 Feet, which begins with a dark night-time gondola ride to the highest elevation party in North America. And of course, the signature apres-ski parties.

World Water Day events

World Water Day is held annually on March 22 as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. On Friday, March 22, California Trout, in partnership with the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps and Inyo-Mono Integrated Regional Water Management Program (IRWMP), will host a water forum and catered dinner at the Tri-County Fairgrounds’ Tallman Pavillion in Bishop to celebrate five years of water collaboration and take part in a growing effort that perpetuates self sustaining water management in the Eastern Sierra.

The evening program includes a panel discussion moderated by Caltrout’s Mark Drew and a Q+A session with the audience about water resource planning. Info: http://inyo-monowater.org/. Banquet RSVP: Andrew Skaggs 978.621.9856 or askaggs@caltrout.org.
