In anticipation of their meeting with the Mammoth Lakes Town Council on March 10, the Tourism and Recreation Commission will review the Destination Marketing Organization’s (DMO’s) Strategic Directions Report and Organization’s Platform at their regularly schedule meeting today at 4 p.m. in Suite Z. The workshop on the tenth will also include the DMO Board and the goal is to fully nail down what the DMO will be responsible for in the future in order to then determine how the DMO and the Town’s recreation department can work together without duplicating efforts.

The Commission will meet again on Thursday, March 4 again at 4 p.m. in Suite Z, this time to discuss the youth funding application process and timeline, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act  Signage and Wayfinding project, the Measure R Spring Award process, and the Recreation Reorganization and DMO Formation proposals.
