Superintendent search
The Mammoth Unified School District’s Board of Education and Leadership Associates, hired to conduct the search for a new superintendent, will hold focus groups on Monday, March 22, to elicit input on the qualities the public thinks is important for a new MUSD superintendent. They will be meeting with different groups the entire day; however most of the public may opt to attend one or more of the following: A session with the PTO/MMSO/Boosters, NOW Foundation, School Site Councils and Measure S Oversight Committee members is at 10 a.m., and a Community Leaders meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m., both in the Sierra High School MPR in the District Offices. An Open Community Forum is also set for 5:30 p.m. in the MHS Library. More info: contact Kathy Emerick at the School District, 760-934-6802.
