Bishop bank robbery
On March 17 at approximately 6 p.m. a lone male subject entered Chase Bank as the Bank was closing. The Suspect approached a teller and handed her a note demanding cash. The suspect showed a handgun in his waistband. The Teller complied and the Suspect took the money and left the bank. The Suspect was last seen leaving the bank and heading eastbound on May Street on foot.
The Suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-35 years old, 5-7 to 5-11 feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. The Suspect was wearing a tan baseball hat, black shirt and light colored pants and work boots.
Police were notified when the Suspect left the bank and immediately responded to the area. A subsequent search of the area failed to locate the Suspect. It is unknown if the Suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. The total loss is undisclosed at this time.
Bishop Police Department has obtained surveillance footage and still photographs [shown here] of the Suspect. Additional law enforcement resources, including the FBI have been notified and are assisting in the investigation.
