Obituary: Rhiannon Lynn Taylor

Rhiannon Lynn Taylor
2009-2010

Our daughter Rhiannon Lynn Taylor passed away Saturday morning, March 13. She was three days short of five months old. Rhiannon was loved by her mother Amanda and me more than anything; to say she’ll be missed doesn’t begin to describe the amount of emotion the two of us are feeling. Rhiannon was born on October 27, 2009 at Mammoth hospital and promptly flown to Renown hospital in Reno with complications. Testing revealed a terminal genetic disorder with severe heart complications and the doctors seemed to think Rhiannon’s life would be measured in weeks, not months or years. Amanda and I were devastated but steadfast in our decision to take her home and meet our community in Mammoth. She is our little angel and has a knack for making you melt at the sight of her beautiful face. Her strength continually amazed not only us, but the medical community looking after her as well.  Rhiannon survived longer than everyone expected and lived a life that can only be described as a miracle. We miss her deeply.

Gabe Taylor

There will be a Celebration of Life for her at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 28 upstairs at Whiskey Creek. All friends and family are invited to attend.
