Mammoth Mountain, CA – With the “Road to Mammoth” qualification series complete, the remaining entry spots for the 2010 Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross became available to the public on May 1. Entry spots can be purchased at www.MammothMotocross.com.
Six “Road to Mammoth” qualifier series events took place throughout California as part of a new performance-based entry process for the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross. This series allowed a percentage of winners and top finishers from each round of the series to receive an entry into the 2010 Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross. All remaining entries will come from online registration as in the past.
The Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross, scheduled for June 17-27, is recognized as one of the top amateur national events in the motorcycle industry. Many riders have honed their skills on the challenging Mammoth Motocross Track over the years including Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, James Stewart, Rick Johnson, David Bailey, and Travis Pastrana.
The Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross draws racers and spectators who come to Mammoth Lakes to enjoy the rush of watching some of the best motocross competitors in the world compete on the famous Mammoth Motocross track, located at 8,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Originally established in 1968, the Mammoth Motocross is the longest continuously running motocross event in the United States.
