Little Leaguers at Reno Aces

Many Mono County Little Leaguers attended the Reno Aces game against the Iowa Cubs on May 16. The Aces hosted a special little league/softball day that included a chalk talk with some of the Aces before the game started. This was followed by a parade consisting of all little leaguers, in uniform, walking out and around the entire field. Mono County Little League would like to extend its gratitude to its sponsors for a great season thus far! (Photo: LeFrancois)

WHY did the Mono Co Little League turn down the 9-10 year old Little League All-Stars tournament? It seems ironic that Mammoth, which promotes endless events in order to fill hotel rooms and restaurants, would turn down an event promising hundreds of visitors. Having the tournament here would also fulfill many young players dreams of playing All-Star baseball in such a beautiful setting. It seems Mammoth is content to let all those possible revenue dollars go to….Boron?
